Velora began as a passion project by a high school developer in Calgary, inspired by friends with dyslexia who wanted a little more support with reading.

That is still the idea: make dense text feel more approachable, without taking the original meaning out of reach.

What am I downloading?

Velora is a browser extension for Chrome on desktop. After purchase, Gumroad provides the extension ZIP and your download receipt.

Can I adjust how I read?

Yes. Change the summary depth, vocabulary level, or reading mode. Bionic reading adds bold anchors and more spacing for a different way to scan text.
